NVIDIA)/ Mellanox)MFA7U10-H030 is compatible with 400G OSFP to 2x 200G QSFP56 HDR InfiniBand branch cable (active, OSFP to 2x QSFP56, 30AWG).

This NVIDIA)/ Mellanox)MFA7U10-H030 cable is a 400Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 2x200Gb/s dual-port QSFP56 HDR InfiniBand active branch cable. Eight-channel small pluggable optical module (OSFP) and four-channel small pluggable 56 optical module (QSFP56) are adopted. This configuration includes eight pairs of high-speed copper cables, each of which can support data transmission rate up to 50Gb/s.. The cable conforms to OSFP Rev. 5.0 and IEEE 802.3cd standards.
Optical fiber cable provides higher port bandwidth, density and configurability for data center, and has lower cost and power consumption, which is widely used in cloud computing and supercomputers. In addition, optical cables are also widely used to connect NVIDIA)GPU-based systems to InfiniBand networks and InfiniBand storage networks.
Compared with optical module, optical cable provides more economical advantages of low cost and high reliability. Compared with high-speed cables, optical cables are lighter and more flexible, which can provide better airflow support and longer transmission distance.
