For storage workload, ConnectX-5 provides a series of innovative accelerations, such as signature switching in hardware (T10-DIF), embedded PCIe switch and NVMe over Fabric target offload. ConnectX-5 adapter card also brings advanced Open vSwitch offloading to telecom and cloud data centers, so as to drive extremely high packet rate and throughput, while reducing CPU resource consumption, thus improving the efficiency of data center infrastructure.
