NVIDIA)/ Mellanox)MCP7Y00-N001 is compatible with 800G OSFP high-speed cable with heat sink at the top to 2x 400G OSFP NDR InfiniBand passive branch (passive, OSFP to 2x OSFP, 28AWG).

This NVIDIA)/ Mellanox InfiniBand MCP7Y00-N001 cable is an 800Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 2×400Gb/s dual-port OSFP dual-branch high-speed cable. The 8-channel dual-port OSFP end is packaged with a heat sink at the top, which is suitable for the chassis of Quantum-2 and Spectrum-4 switches. The cable block conforms to QSFP56 MSA and IEEE 802.3ck standards.
High-speed cables have the characteristics of low latency, so they are widely used in data centers to connect servers and GPU computing systems with switches and backbone-super backbone switches in racks for short distances. High-speed cables are used to create an InfiniBand storage layout with a hard disk drive (HDD) and a flash subsystem.
The high-speed cable adopts simple design and few components, and provides high-speed connection with low cost, low delay and near zero power consumption, which improves the bandwidth, density and configurability of ports in supercomputers and large-scale systems, and reduces power consumption requirements.
